When we were growing up, family trips were only to meet my grandparents. Summers in Solapur and Diwali at Pune. We never vacationed outside these two places. Last few years we have been taking time out to go out with the entire family. It's relaxing and it very enjoyable. I love it. One of our recent favourite destinations has been Karde beach near Dapoli. It is still less crowded due to it's distance form Mumbai. Most of the people who do visit are from Pune. One can still find a quiet serene time here. This is the photo of the adjoining Ladghar beach.
