An enchanting long standing tradition for the people of this city. My mother came from this city and she used to tell her stories of this fair from her childhood. How her father always got her the biggest doll. Last year I got a chance to visit this fair - my first time. I was enchanted. Solapur holds nostalgic memories for me as I spent most of my school summer vacations here. This fair celebrates the 12th-century saint Shri Siddharameshwa. It is one of the biggest events for the people of this old city.
