We believe that a sustainable platform cannot be truly free without compromising user privacy or experience. Unlike platforms that monetize through advertising or selling user data, 2DSlice is funded solely through subscriptions. This ensures we can maintain our commitment to privacy, no advertisements, and a clean, distraction-free experience. Our pricing is designed to be fair and sustainable for the long term. You can learn more about our approach on our About Us page.
RAW backups are part of your personal archive—only you can access and restore those files—while edited photographs and exports are delivered to every visitor who views your gallery. Because public-facing files generate ongoing bandwidth charges, a significant share of our storage costs comes from the data transfer, not just the disks. We allocate higher quotas for RAW-only vaults so your private originals remain safe, and tighter limits on shared assets so we can keep delivery costs predictable for everyone.
